1. Definition and Scope

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the agreement between LawThor OÜ (14167459) located at Laeva 1 and the user requesting legal consultation through the LawThor technical platform (hereafter referred to as “The Platform” provided by LawThor OÜ under the website www.lawthor.com.

1.2 The platform, individuals can book consultations with legal professionals, in particular attorneys and lawyers, for short legal consultations. When the legal consultation begins, the user can describe his/her concerns to the lawyer or attorney. The lawyer will then give legal advice when possible, and suggest further steps if more work is required. Please note that all materials of the platform are for information purposes only. No such materials are or should be taken as legal, investment, financial, trade or other advice.

1.3 LawThor OÜ is only an intermediary service between the user and the legal professional and should therefore not be regarded as a legal help provider. The agreement between the user and LawThor OÜ is therefore strictly a service agreement pertaining to providing a technical solution. LawThor OÜ is therefore not responsible for the nature or quality of the legal advice given during consultations.

1.4 The user enters into an agreement with LawThor OÜ by filling the form and opting in to the terms and conditions provided here.

2. Prices and payment

2.1 Prices and fees for consultation with a legal professional and other costs are outlined in the submission form. Prices include a 15min legal consultation with a vetted legal professional who will contact the user within 48 hours of the payment being made. Consultation cannot start before the payment has been approved.

2.2 All prices are in Euro (€).

NB! When using a bank link payment confirm the order and then click on the ‘Return to merchant’ button. The personal data necessary for the execution of payments is transferred to authorized processor Stripe. The contract enters into force when the amount payable is transferred to the bank account of the online store.

2.3 To request a consultation fill in all the required fields and press button. The total cost is then displayed on the screen. This can be paid securely via the following payment methods provided by Stripe:

2.4 The user has a 100% money back guarantee if user is not happy with the consultation or for whatever reason the consultation does not take place within 48 hours. All funds will be refunded promptly, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification. For refund email: info@lawthor.com and request a refund.

2.5 Right of withdrawal. Before receiving the consultation, the purchaser has the right to withdraw from the contract entered into with LawThor OÜ within 14 days.

3. Direct marketing and processing of personal data

3.1 The LawThor platform only uses the personal data entered by the user for processing the consultation and sending the information to the right attorney or lawyer who will provide the consultation.

3.2 The purchaser is able to opt-out of their e-mail address at any time by letting us know via e-mail or by following the instructions in an e-mail containing an offer.

4. Settlement of disputes

4.1 All complaints made by a user about the online store must be e-mailed to or submitted by emailing info@lawthor.com.

4.2 If the user and the LawThor OÜ are not able to settle the dispute by agreement, the purchaser may contact the Consumer Dispute Committee. The Consumer Dispute Committee is competent to resolve disputes arising from a contract between a user and the website. The resolution of disputes by the Consumer Dispute Committee is free of charge for the purchaser

4.3 A user may also turn to the dispute resolution bodies of the European Union.
